3D MODELS AND SCULPTS
1. Armadillo Bandit - High Resolution Sculpt - ZBrush
To create this sculpt, I used ZSpheres to form the bipedal base and built subtools for the shell and bandana. I used alpha materials for most of the bumpy texturing and hand-drew deeper tertiary lines for more organic depth. For the character's design, I referenced photographs of nine-banded armadillos and exaggerated details like the eyes and mouth for a more humanoid and cartoonish look.
2. Canine Skull - High Resolution Sculpt - ZBrush
This sculpt was created from a single sphere with no appended subtools. I used Michael Vicente's Orb Brush Pack to hand-place organic patches of noise for realism. For my reference, I used a physical skull but the species remains a mystery.

3. Human Male Bust - High Resolution Sculpt - ZBrush
I created this human male head bust using ZBrush's standard brushes and appended spheres for the eyes.
4. Stone Pillar - High Resolution Sculpt - ZBrush
I created the primary shape of the pillar using a primitive cube and polygroups. Next, I applied secondary details including larger stone displacements and two alpha materials to create the alligator and bird (not original content). To create the rays of the sun etching, I used an array mesh and live booleans for even depth into the stone. For hand-drawn details, I mostly used Michael Vicente's Orb Brush Pack. For overall texture, I applied Zbrush's surface noise tool. To create the environment, I sculpted on a primitive plane and created an InsertMesh brush from one grass blade.
5. Cannon - Hard Surface Model and Environment - Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter
I created the cannon's proxy base in Maya with a set limitation of 5k polygons. Next, I exported the model into ZBrush and sculpted details into each piece. After, I imported the cannon to Substance Painter and added materials. Lastly, I created a small supporting scene in Maya.
