GAME PROJECTS
1. Hysteria - 2D Isometric Stealth Game
|
Overview: Use stealth to scare guests as a fledgling actor at a haunted attraction featuring unique 2D pixel art and strategy-demanding gameplay! This project was developed by students at the University of Central Florida during the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters as part of two capstone game workshop courses. This was my first experience in a leadership role so it was exciting to have a hand in every department! The team’s continued and collective investment in learning how to apply new processes, communicate effectively, and work under strict deadlines led us to the successful accomplishment of all major goals for the game’s final alpha build. Responsibilities:

2. Rainy Park - UE4 VFX Project
Meshes and textures were downloaded from UE4's Downtown West Modular Pack (with the exception of the flag and pole, created in Houdini). I used these to create the scene and materials.

3. Green Garden - 2D Persuasive/Radical Game

Role: Lead Artist
Team Size: 3 Project Duration: 3 weeks Engine: Unity Platform: PC Overview: Grow your agricultural business while making a positive impact on people’s lives! This project was developed by students at the University of Central Florida during the Spring 2021 semester for a course on contemporary topics in digital media. The goal was to develop an original persuasive/radical game that clearly articulates a social or cultural value to lead to change. Green Garden aims to break down common misconceptions regarding cannabis cultivation. To help achieve this, I designed a light and casual aesthetic to disengage cannabis from any negative associations with dangerous drugs. Responsibilities:

4. 14 Days - 2D Casual Mobile Game
|
Overview: 14 days. You just need to wait inside for 14 days. It should be easy right? This project was developed by students at the University of Central Florida during the Fall 2020 semester as part of a casual game production course. During development, I worked closely with one other artist to formulate an efficient process for asset creation. I generated 3D renders of each room before passing them on for 2D overlays. Because the game featured a unique art style, this process greatly benefitted overall consistency. Responsibilities:
|
5. Kinoko No Kitsune - 3D Adventure Game
|
Overview: Wall-run, dash, and slash your way through the ancient ruins to collect the sacred talismans and save your village! This project was developed by students at the University of Central Florida during the Spring 2020 semester for a game production course. My team faced a major hurdle when the COVID-19 pandemic suddenly forced us to switch from working together in the classroom to entirely remote. Despite our challenges, the game performed successfully and all goals were achieved! Responsibilities:
